ABOUT Our Studio

With nearly 20 years of experience, founder Walid Chaya guides child and teen actors through professional film, television, theatre, and commercial training in Los Angeles.
 

Programs are led by working industry professionals —including casting directors, agents, and coaches —and provide real-world insight into how the industry works. Classes are held in a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment that builds technique, confidence, and hands-on performance experience.

PART 2

FILMING

The second session will be in-person at our recording location in Los Angeles, CA (address will be emailed to registered participants). You will be scheduled for a private 2-hour appointment that includes final prep, half-an-hour on-set and reviewing your favorite takes immediately after shooting.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Programs are designed for ages 7–16. Young actors must have a basic reading level to work with short scripts. Teens ages 14+ with prior experience may email us for approval to join select adult programs.

  • No experience is required. Beginners are taught foundational acting skills, while experienced students build on their training and advance to the next level.

  • Classes are led by professional actors and directors in Los Angeles with performance backgrounds. All instructors are background checked and approved to work with children and teens.

  • Kids and teens build confidence, public speaking, and communication skills while learning acting technique for both stage and on-camera work. Classes also focus on improvisation, script analysis, emotional expression, storytelling, teamwork, discipline, and creative problem-solving—skills that support both performance and personal growth.

  • Yes. While representation and casting are not guaranteed, programs prepare young actors to work professionally with agents, managers, and casting professionals. Some programs include showcase opportunities, and families receive guidance on representation, casting opportunities, and next steps.

  • This is a boutique acting studio offering hands-on training, direct communication with families, and real-world industry connections, not just recreational classes.

  • Yes. All actors, regardless of age, need demo footage to pursue professional work, secure representation, and book auditions. Scenes are age-appropriate and can be tailored to experience level. Visit our StudioReel page to register.

  • Parents do not attend regular classes unless needed for a special accommodation. Families are encouraged to attend mini-performances, which typically take place at the end of a class or camp.

  • Students should wear comfortable clothing and sneakers and bring a notebook and pencil. Please bring class scripts when provided or applicable. For camps, students should also bring a packed lunch, water, and two snacks.

PART 1

COACHING

Once you're registered, the first session will be on Zoom with Director Walid Chaya who will coach scenes in a group setting and get you ready to film. You should also dress in character for this Zoom session for feedback on your wardrobe choices.
