LA Acting Bootcamp is a 2-day casting and agent showcase in Los Angeles where film and TV actors perform live scenes for invited casting professionals, acting agents, and industry guests.

ABOUT BOOTCAMP VIDEOS
PART 1
COACHING
Once you're registered, the first session will be on Zoom with Director Walid Chaya who will coach scenes in a group setting and get you ready to film. You should also dress in character for this Zoom session for feedback on your wardrobe choices.
PART 2
FILMING
The second session will be in-person at our recording location in Los Angeles, CA (address will be emailed to registered participants). You will be scheduled for a private 2-hour appointment that includes final prep, half-an-hour on-set and reviewing your favorite takes immediately after shooting.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT BOOTCAMP
GET READY
After registering, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your Welcome Handbook outlining how to prepare. The final VIP lineup will be confirmed and emailed the week prior to the bootcamp.
GET SET
Actors should prepare a 2-minute film or TV scene and two 30-second commercials, following the guidelines and script suggestions provided in the Welcome Handbook.
GO!
Actors take part in acting masterclasses, receive casting feedback, attend a business seminar, and join a curated agent and manager showcase with mini-meetings over two intensive days.

LA Acting Bootcamp is a 2-day intensive for film and television actors focused on the Los Angeles market. Actors train, perform, and receive direct feedback from up to ten working industry professionals through performance training, masterclasses, and curated showcases. Results vary, with many actors seeing progress immediately or over time by building on relationships with industry guests and fellow actors.
No audition is required to participate. LA Acting Bootcamp is open for registration. After signing up, actors receive preparation guidelines and submit materials for approval to ensure a professional-level experience. Headshots and an acting résumé are encouraged but not required, whether you’re just getting started or already working professionally.
LA Acting Bootcamp is designed for committed actors at various stages of their careers who want individualized, professional-level feedback. Each actor works one-on-one within group masterclasses and showcases, receiving direct notes from casting directors, agents, managers, and directors, ensuring the experience remains focused, rigorous, and personalized. The program is open for registration and does not require an audition.
Actors train and perform for a curated group of 10 film and TV industry professionals, including casting directors, agents, managers, and directors. The confirmed guest lineup is emailed to approved registrants approximately two weeks before the program begins. Yes. Actors receive a Welcome Handbook upon registration to prepare. Participants perform an approved film or TV scene and two contrasting commercials, selected from provided resources or submitted independently for approval. One casting masterclass includes on-the-spot cold sides for live coaching and cold-reading practice—an essential audition skill.
Yes. For actors seeking representation, the program offers the opportunity to perform in front of agents and managers and gain insight into how representatives assess actor type and roster fit. Any follow-up after the program happens at the discretion of both parties. This is not an audition, but an educational, professional networking experience.
Actors who already have representation also benefit from professional feedback, branding insight, and industry connections, and may choose to opt out of agent showcase sessions if preferred.
LA Acting Bootcamp is open to actors ages 18 and up. Teens may request program approval by emailing us their résumé. Families seeking programs for younger performers are encouraged to visit our kids programs page.
LA Acting Bootcamp takes place in Los Angeles, California. The exact address is emailed to registered actors approximately two weeks before the program start date. If you are traveling from out of town and need the address sooner for hotel bookings or accommodations, simply email us after you register, and we’re happy to assist.
