FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We work with verified Los Angeles casting directors, acting agents, managers, and creative professionals actively working in film, television, theatre, and commercials. Guests are selected based on your students’ training background, focus areas, and program goals. Schools and studios may also request specific guests, offices, or agencies, and we’ll do our best to accommodate based on availability and fit.
Yes. Programs begin by selecting the number of days and sessions—whether casting masterclasses, agent showcases, acting reel production, or a combination—based on your goals and budget. Once you share details about your students’ training, strengths, and focus areas (e.g., dramatic, comedy, movement, musical theatre), we’ll recommend industry guests who are the strongest fit for both training impact and professional follow-up, including casting directors and representatives who actively work with similar talent profiles.
If you’re unsure where to start, you’re welcome to contact us for scheduling and program recommendations.
Absolutely. These programs are often integrated into recurring weekly classes, capstone projects, senior showcases, or annual professional intensives—online, in Los Angeles, or at your school. We can help design a special guest series and select VIPs who align with your curriculum and student goals.
For most masterclasses and showcases, students typically prepare a 1.5–2 minute scene with a partner or reader. We support this process and can also provide pre-showcase coaching and preparation (online or in person) as an optional add-on service.
Masterclasses provide hands-on acting training, including scene work, character development, script analysis, and on-camera technique, led by casting directors and industry professionals.
Agent and manager showcases are structured professional-development sessions where actors present prepared material, receive live feedback and Q&A, and often engage in brief one-on-one career conversations. While not auditions, they closely mirror real industry interactions.
Business of Acting seminars are also available by request, taught by Walid Chaya and industry guests, with topics curated to each group’s goals.
These programs offer meaningful industry access, professional coaching, and education aligned with industry standards and actor protection practices. While auditions, callbacks, or representation are never guaranteed, many students have gone on to receive audition invitations, secure representation, or continue professional conversations as a result of these sessions. All follow-up remains at the discretion of industry professionals.
We manage all logistics, including booking industry guests, scheduling sessions, managing calendars, securing studio space or Zoom links, and coordinating materials. Faculty are responsible for student preparedness. Optional add-on coaching is available to support prep ahead of showcases or masterclasses.
Programs may be delivered online, in Los Angeles at our studios, or hosted at your school or studio, regardless of location. Schools may also request custom packages, including bringing Los Angeles–based industry guests to campus.
We’re happy to help you determine the best option for your program. Most schools choose one of two options:
-
School-paid invoicing (preferred): We invoice the institution, which pays by online credit card or check. Schools may then include the program in tuition or collect student fees internally.
-
Student-paid registration: Students register and pay directly through our website, with payment plans available (a small online booking fee applies).
-
The standard minimum is 10 students per session. Smaller programs are encouraged to contact us, as students may be able to join an existing showcase or shared program depending on availability.
Travel, lodging, and accommodations are not included in the program fee. Schools and students may arrange travel independently in whatever way works best for them. We’re happy to offer general recommendations upon request. Many students choose to stay in Los Angeles for a few extra days to explore the market, attend follow-ups, or get a feel for the industry.
