Partnership Opportunities With Studio For Performing Arts LA

Studio For Performing Arts LA (SPALA) collaborates with schools, cities, talent representatives, casting professionals, production teams, festivals, and brands to create meaningful educational and industry opportunities.

Alongside the Studio For Performing Arts Foundation — a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit — certain partnerships aligned with community and educational initiatives may also qualify as tax-deductible collaborations when applicable.

Below are the primary ways organizations collaborate with SPALA. Organizations interested in exploring collaboration are welcome to contact us at any time.

Ways to Collaborate With Studio For Performing Arts LA

──────── ✧ ────────

Educational Partnerships — Schools, Studios & Organizations

SPALA brings professional acting training directly to partner locations through workshops, ongoing classes, residencies, or full program implementation. Collaborations may include curriculum development, professional teaching artist staffing, or a combination of both to expand performing arts offerings within schools, studios, and community organizations.

In some partnerships, SPALA provides ongoing staffing and operational support through collaborative or white-label models, delivering regularly scheduled training while managing curriculum, instructors, and program continuity behind the scenes. Partnerships may range from consultation and program development to fully implemented training systems tailored to each organization’s goals.

Institutions seeking industry-facing training and performance opportunities may also explore our dedicated Custom Actor Showcases, designed specifically for colleges and training programs.

Municipal & Government Partnerships

SPALA collaborates with cities and public agencies to provide accessible performing arts programming for local communities. We currently serve as an official government contract partner for performing arts programming with the City of West Hollywood, providing acting classes and camps for youth and adults. Similar partnerships can support recreation departments, cultural programming, and community arts initiatives in other municipalities.

──────── ✧ ────────

Agents & Managers — Talent Development Partnerships

Agents and managers often partner with SPALA to support their clients’ continued growth through professional training and portfolio development. By providing coaching, skills refinement, and portfolio updates designed to increase booking readiness, SPALA helps representatives strengthen and advance their rosters while allowing agents and managers to focus on submissions, bookings, and long-term career strategy. This collaborative approach supports talent development at scale, particularly for rosters where individualized training oversight may not always be feasible.

Industry professionals are also frequently invited to participate as special guests, instructors, or panelists within SPALA classes and showcases. Agents and managers interested in engaging directly with our training community are welcome to connect with us.

──────── ✧ ────────

Casting Directors, Producers, Directors & Production Companies

SPALA’s network includes a highly engaged community of trained, working, and emerging actors, allowing collaborators to reach performers efficiently within a professional training ecosystem. Through our mailing list and social platforms, partners may share casting needs or talent opportunities with a targeted acting community. To maintain professional standards, we are selective with broad announcements and rarely distribute unpaid opportunities to our full list, prioritizing opportunities that provide meaningful professional value to actors.

Industry professionals may also be invited as guest instructors, panel participants, or showcase guests, offering opportunities to engage directly with trained performers in an educational setting. Those interested in participating are encouraged to reach out.

──────── ✧ ────────

Film Festivals, Panels & Industry Events

SPALA partners with film festivals and creative organizations to produce educational sessions, workshops, panels, and performer-focused community programming. For many festivals, we develop and produce signature experiences such as Diversity Showcases, Meals for Monologues, and other industry-facing events designed to connect artists and professionals. Collaborations may also include shared promotion, customized audience outreach, or serving as a producing partner for educational programming within festivals and industry events.

──────── ✧ ────────

Brand & Creative Partnerships

Brands collaborate with SPALA to connect authentically with a focused audience of actors and creatives through event integrations, digital features, social media collaborations, and email outreach. Our audience primarily consists of actors, performers, and creative professionals actively engaged in training and career development. SPALA events regularly feature high-profile industry guests, including creative executives, casting professionals, directors, agents, and working talent, providing brands with authentic visibility within a professionally engaged entertainment community. Partnerships are designed to align naturally with creative and professional development communities.

──────── ✧ ────────

Events & Community Collaborations

SPALA regularly collaborates on mixers, showcases, panels, and creative gatherings that foster networking, education, and artistic growth. Organizations may co-produce or participate in experiences that bring together performers and industry professionals. When audiences naturally overlap, we enjoy creating shared experiences with aligned partners — from hosting mixers with headshot studios to collaborating with local theatres that introduce actors to new performance opportunities. We welcome partnerships that complement SPALA’s work and do not directly overlap with our core acting training programs.
