Recap: ACTion! Pop Star Spotlight Camp August 2026 at West Hollywood Aquatic & Recreation Center
From August 3–7, 2026, young performers ages 7–14 took center stage at Studio For Performing Arts LA’s ACTion! Pop Star Spotlight Camp in West Hollywood, enjoying an exciting week of singing, dancing, acting, theater games, creative activities, and performance training inspired by today’s pop stars.
Throughout the week, campers explored their creativity through engaging performance activities, developed their stage presence, and built confidence as they worked alongside fellow young performers. Through singing, dance, acting exercises, rehearsals, and theater games, each child had the opportunity to strengthen teamwork, communication, self expression, and performance skills in a fun and supportive environment.
The week concluded with a special showcase for family and friends, where campers proudly performed everything they had worked on throughout the week. It was a wonderful celebration of their creativity, confidence, teamwork, and accomplishments.
At Studio For Performing Arts LA, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to build confidence through the performing arts. In addition to our Pop Star Spotlight camps, we offer seasonal acting, musical theater, and performing arts camps during school breaks, in person and online private acting coaching, career consultations for young actors, and opportunities to train with entertainment industry professionals. Students can also participate in our LA Kids Acting Convention, where aspiring young performers learn from casting directors, agents, managers, and working actors while gaining valuable industry experience.
