The 4th Annual MENASA Diversity Actors Showcase returned as a hybrid event, connecting actors nationwide with industry professionals through live performances in Los Angeles and a digital talent database.

If you’ve been focused on classes, auditions, and building your craft, don’t forget—your network matters just as much as your actor training. The LA Creatives Networking Mixer on May 10, 2026 is your chance to meet like-minded artists, build real connections, and open doors to new opportunities. Hosted in Downtown Los Angeles, this relaxed, in-person event brings together actors, filmmakers, writers, photographers, and creatives in a space designed for genuine conversation

The 4th Annual MENASA Diversity Actors Showcase returned this April as a hybrid industry event, connecting actors and entertainment professionals through both a live Los Angeles showcase and a nationwide online platform. Produced by Studio For Performing Arts LA and the Studio For Performing Arts Foundation in collaboration with the Hollywood Arab Film Festival.

The 4th Annual MENASA Diversity Actors Showcase, hosted by Studio For Performing Arts LA, will take place on April 18, 2026 at the Culver City Theatre, offering a live performance opportunity for selected MENASA and SWANA actors.

We are currently interested in hearing from Musicians • Dancers • Magicians • Comedians • Variety Acts who want to perform live and connect with the LA entertainment community. If you’re a performer in Los Angeles looking for gigs, showcases, open mic opportunities, or places to perform, we seasonally feature live entertainment at our industry mixers, holiday parties, and creative events.

Looking to grow your acting career beyond auditions and online acting classes? The LA Creatives Networking Mixer on February 27, 2026 is a relaxed, in person event designed for actors and creatives who want real connections without industry pressure. Produced by Studio for Performing Arts LA in collaboration with Anthony Mongiello Photography, this mixer brings together actors, filmmakers, writers, photographers, and producers in a welcoming studio environment.

If you’ve been hearing more and more about vertical dramas and wondering whether they actually matter for actors, this is one conversation you should know about. Earlier this year, Walid Chaya—actor, director, and Director of Studio For Performing Arts LA— spoke on a Vertical Dramas panel at the Hollywood Movie Awards, alongside casting director Paul Ruddy (a name many actors will already recognize), and platform leaders Yoko Chen (GoodShort) and Jenny Rosen (DramaBox).

"A beloved local tradition celebrating Broadway music, comedy, and community. The troop marked their 16th anniversary this past April. Since 2009, the weekly event has grown into a must-see spectacle, showcasing projected Broadway musical videos with MuMo’s hysterical, simultaneous re-enactments of the clips. Audience participation is strongly encouraged, transforming the night into a full theatrical experience."
