This 6-week on-camera class by Studio For Performing Arts LA is designed to help actors adapt to short-form storytelling and stand out in today’s evolving casting landscape.


Vertical series are changing how content is created and cast—and actors who understand this format have a major advantage. Whether you’re taking an online acting class, preparing for auditions, or building skills from a casting director workshop perspective, this training helps you learn how to book roles in this space.


Each session focuses on real-world actor training, including emotional shifts, cliffhanger moments, self-tape technique, camera awareness, and pacing for vertical framing. The program wraps with a special class featuring a Vertical Series Industry Guest, offering insight into what casting professionals are looking for right now.
